Who we are

AFODA Transport & Delivery Ltd (“AFODA”) operates the website afoda.co.uk, our customer mobile app, and our driver portal. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone, role (customer / driver / admin).
  • Booking data: pickup and drop-off addresses, dates, descriptions, photos you provide.
  • Driver KYC data: driving licence, insurance, DBS, MOT, proof of address.
  • Location data: driver live location while a job is in transit.
  • Communications: calls and messages with our ops team.

Why we collect it

To fulfil bookings, dispatch drivers, comply with our insurance and legal obligations, prevent fraud, and improve our service.

How we share it

  • With the driver assigned to your booking (only the details they need).
  • With our payment and SMS processors (Twilio, Resend) under DPA contracts.
  • With law-enforcement when legally compelled.

We never sell your data.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time — email hello@afoda.co.uk. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO.

We use a single first-party httpOnly session cookie for authentication. No third-party analytics cookies at launch.
