Do I have to pay a deposit?
No. AFODA never asks for a deposit, card pre-authorisation, or any payment up front. You pay the driver on the day — cash or card — once the job is done.
How quickly will you call me back?
Within one hour, seven days a week. Most callbacks happen in under 20 minutes during working hours. We confirm the price and driver in a single phone call.
Are your drivers insured?
Yes. Every AFODA driver is fully insured for hire-and-reward and carries goods-in-transit cover. Vehicles are MOT-checked and serviced on a fixed schedule.
Do you cover the whole of England?
Yes. While we're based in London, our driver network spans every major English city — Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Sheffield, Liverpool and beyond. Long-distance runs go to Scotland and Wales too.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Free cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup. Within 24 hours we ask for a courtesy call so we can free up the driver. No penalty fees, ever.
